College of AI Convergence Was Made with Changes in Departments

Dongguk University has made the College of AI Convergence in the 2022 semester, and they recruited freshmen for 2023 as the name of the Division of AI Software Convergence. There are five majors in the AI Convergence College, which are AI major, Data Science major, Entertainment Technology major, Computer Science Engineering, and Multimedia Engineering. Computer Science Engineering and Multimedia Engineering were members of the College of Engineering, but from the 2023 semester on, they are members of the College of AI Convergence. Students who enter after 2023 as the Division of AI Software Convergence can choose their major at a junior, after taking the division common education curriculum till sophomore. Existing students of Computer Science Engineering and Multimedia Engineering are following the existing graduation curriculum. Since this change is making a few voices of displeasure or expectations, we must look carefully at its operation.
