2023 GKS(KGSP)-G Application Guideline (~3/31) /Arranged by Kim Ji-woo

   Dongguk University’s application guidelines for Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) have been announced. GKS is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea. By pursuing academic degrees, the program will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendships between countries. In 2023, the Korean Government’s GKS program invites 1,300 international students who wish to pursue a graduate-level degree such as master’s, doctoral, or research in Korea.

   Since GKS divided the available Korean universities by type, Dongguk university is in Type A. Additionally, there are no additional documents required for Dongguk University. Documents screening is all for the selection process. However, a telephone interview could be conducted if it is necessary. The academic scholarship will be awarded to GKS students who achieved the highest GPA among GKS students. There is no language eligibility required when you apply for a GKS scholarship. Additionally, all students except the Global MBA department must submit TOPIK level 5 for their graduation requirements. Some departments accept English test scores to replace TOPIK.
